The park was mediocre. We Loved the paved hiking/biking paths and mountain biking trails and visited the Outer Banks while we were here! The sites are dirt, but very level. We were there for 10 days and the host never talked to us or even waved when walking by. The wntrance gate is manual and needs to be opened and closed wach time you leave or enter. The showers are separate units from the bathrooms which is nice but they are in need of repair, the water spigot (sites don't have water) to fill up from constantly leak. The Airbase is nearby and provides consistent noise at all hours. We'd probably look for another campground if in the area again.
