We have stayed in both the upper and lower loops. Sites along Badin Lake in the lower loop are often reserved. The surroundings are beautiful! We have T-Mobile phones which only work at sporadic areas close to shore at the picnic areas near the fishing pier at Kings Mountain Point. We had to drive to El Dorado Outpost to get WIFI.
