On the Georgia border of North Carolina
Went here to view the total solar eclipse on August 21, 2017. Spent two weeks camping in the park. The mountain air was cool and comfortable for sleeping. The lake water was bathtub warm for swimming. I loved this park. The sites are spaced well apart. The showers and bathrooms are clean. Most of the waterfront sites are for tents only, but there are quite a few sites that will fit a trailer. There are no electrical or water hook ups on the sites, but there are a few water spigots located throughout the campground, and there is electricity in the very clean restrooms. Fishing was good. Very quite during the week, a little busier on the weekends.
Five Stars.
