There is some very nice hiking in this area, the highest mountain in the Catskills is right on site. Take a day and climb it! Super cute town nearby with farmers market. Camp site is close enough to rt 87 to be convenient but less crowded than some other Catskills sites I’ve been to (at least it was in August). Very wooded sites, nice and relatively private. Clean, well kept, basic state park accommodations. Nice babbling brook near our camp site. Obey bear rules!!
