I took my family to this campground for a weekend away. The campground itself is a nice quiet little place with a stream running through it. There are a lot of great hiking trails that can be accessed from this campground. And Slide Mountain is a perfect hiking destination. The grounds were well kept and for the most part clean. Typical of a NYS DEC Campground. The bathrooms were older and a bit run down. But they were clean and usable. The only down side was a strong thunderstorm that came through on the day we arrived and we had torrents of water running through our site and the 'quaint' stream became a large rushing river. It was still a nice place and I'd go back again.
