This campground is 5 miles out of the town of Phoenicia.  There are showers available.  The sites are large, but not particularly laid out for privacy.  Site surfaces are rocky and dirt, although some sites do have a little grass.  

Like many of the NY State Campgrounds, the cleanliness and overall maintenance of the campground is average at best.  We don't mind rustic, so it works for us.  The location of this one to the hiking we were going to do in the Catskills made it ideal for this trip.
