Beautiful & swimming

Waterfalls and gorges typical of Finger Lakes area, reminiscent of Watkins Glen in a lot of ways but less crowded. There are some areas to swim in the natural water here. Some of the sites are along the creek, all are lovely and wooded. As is frequently true at state parks, the day use restrooms can get a little messy so don't be put off--the campground ones are always very clean. Just fyi, the town of Stony Brook, NY is on Long Island, 6+ hours from this State Park.
