The worst!
If I could give it ZERO stars, I would. Trust what you have read out there on social media, this site is the worst. Firstly, this is more like a picnic ground on the side of the road than a campground, and I have been to many others. Sites are on top of one another (see photo). The green tent is from our group. All the other tents are from 2 camp sites combined...11 tents on 2 sites! We wanted a site with electrical and water because we had our sons with us. There were many other families there as well. The site directly next to us (in the picture) had in excess of 15 people there! They were young (late teens/early twenties). As the night progressed, the massive fireworks began. Okay, seems like fun. Then, they continued into the late evening. At 12:40, the gentleman who patrols the camp caught them in the act. He told them to stop. Mind you, this was not the only site lighting fireworks. Then, AFTER that, the party stared. We understand being young and partying. There was music, loudness, drinking, etc. So, 12:40, okay. 1:00, eh, alright. However, around 2:00, yes 2:00, the yelling and fighting (literally) began (yelling included racial epithets-as they were able to refer to themselves in those terms). A fist fight ensued. We decided it was most prudent to not interject ourselves into the situation as we had children with us. I went to find a cell signal, as there is none almost anywhere there, by the office. I happened upon the camp“security” and told him to put a stop to it or I would call the police. He listened and did. Then, he patrolled several more times. Eventually, he stopped and, here we go again! Another yelling and fighting match breaks out. All this eventually dies down at 3:30!!! Great! No one slept. The office responded to our complaints the next morning by telling us that they were leaving and blackballed. We cut our experience short. Do NOT camp here.
