great location

I've just recently started camping in the ADKs and love this campground. it is huge, clean and well maintained.  There are a surprising amount of bathhouses and a trash facility on the way out. All sites have fire pits and some have enough trees for hammocks, but it is easier if you have a hammock stand.  I used my Tensa4.

Incredible!

This campground is gorgeous and immaculate! Very peaceful and quiet. Lake is gorgeous and pristine. We kayaked and canoed. There is no electricity or internet, but that's fine! We checked our email when we drove the short drive to town and visited the many shops there. Despite there being bear sightings, this was easily our favorite camping spot and we can't wait to go back there.

Adirondack camping at it's best

We have stayed here a few times over the years. Campground spans an area between two lovely lakes - Seventh and Eighth. We preferred the Seventh Lake sites and have had nice waterfront sites to launch a canoe from into the lily pads. Sandy beach swimming on Eighth Lake. Trails for hiking or biking. Near to the great town of Inlet for groceries, ice cream or outings. Showers and flush toilets. Dump station. Not far off of Rt 28- can hear those occasional loud vehicles, especially from Seventh Lake area.

Amazing campground!

This was by far one of the best campgrounds I have ever visited! The people were friendly and informative. The grounds are well maintained and the sites all provide plenty of privacy. The campground stretches between 2 lakes (Seventh and Eighth Lakes) and also has hiking trails with access to another lake (Bug Lake) and pond (Eagles Nest.) It is far enough outside of downtown Inlet to feel far away from any city, yet only takes a few minutes drive to get any forgotten essentials. The detailed recycling center in the front of the campground was a HUGE plus, as well!
