Friends trip!
I used to go to the saco river every summer and would camp here and one other pace. This is fairly priced especially if you go with a big group. The camp ground is really spacious and offer pretty much all the amenities that a family would need. So young and old folks will be able to share in the fun and excitement.
The camp sits on the saco river and offer swimming, canoeing, rope swinging and fishing depending on when you there. Most often people float the saco. In rafts, tubes, canoes what ever you can float on. They offer shuttles right from the camp ground that will pick you up and drop you off on the river. Most of the campgrounds on the saco do offer shuttles similar. Grab your beer and a flotation device and your ready to go. It also sits at the foot of the white mountains....So if your trying to get you 4000' footers on your good to go. Make sure you bring a beer for the top of the mountain.
Cheers!
