Echo Bay Lower Campground — Lake Mead National Recreation Area
Reviewed Apr. 9, 2021

Not bad, but not great.

To start we were told there was a small beach nearby. Couldn't find it, lol. User error for sure. I knew it would be warm as it was summer but checked before making plans that the temps would go down at night (typical weather people got it very wrong) but they did not until almost 4 am. Overall it was not the best trip of last year.

Otherwise, it was a cute little campground with great night sky views considering all the light pollution popping over the hill from nearby Vegas. The spots are a bit close together but the bathrooms were very tidy and the camp host was super nice. I would camp here again in Early Spring or Late Fall.
