## Overview

 Trout Creek Campground is located off Interstate 90, just 60 minutes west of Missoula, Montana and 10 minutes southeast of Superior, Montnana. The campground is graveled with 12 sites and has a large picnic area. There is no water available or a Camp Host. There are vault toilets, trash services, picnic tables, and fire rings. The campground sits by the Trout Creek stream and is shaded and quiet.

 This campground is in close proximity to Heart Lake, HooDoo Lake and the trail system off the state line. 
## Facilities

 Trout Creek Campground is graveled and has vault toilets and trash services. Each site has a parking space, picnic table, and fire ring. There are 12 sites in total which are back in only and can accommodate RV's 27' to 35' in length depending on the site. 
## Natural Features

 The campground resides in the valley bottom and Trout Creek runs next to it. The campground is flat and easily accessible from Interstate 90.

 Missoula is 60 miles to the east. Superior is 7 miles to the west. St Regis is 20 miles to the west. Route of the Hiawatha Trail is 50 miles to the west. Lookout Ski Area/Idaho is 54 miles to the west. Alberton Gorge is 21 miles to the east.

Had an amazing time at this beautiful campground. Lots of hiking around the site.

Lovely

This hike into the lakes is not for the faint of heart, but the most breath taking views of Montana at its finest. There are plenty of Brook trout and huckleberries to eat at each  trail and lake. There is also a lot of wild life, including mountain goats, moose, deer, and elk.  Please make sure when bringing pets that they know not to chase these animals and always look at fire reports before heading into this area.

Trout Creek up to Hidden Lake

Fun spot for fishing. Lots of fish to catch if you know where to go. Boat access. Camps are close together and don’t offer much coverage. Kept clean.

Finley Flats

Just 5 miles off of I-90, this small stream side forest service campground offers you a shady retreat to rest for the night. Pit toilets, fire rings, and tables are standard here but the campground's real charm is sitting next to the stream where you can relax to the flowing water or fish. There aren't many spots here but we didn't have a hard time just pulling up and snagging a spot.
