Terrific KOA Journey

Beautiful facilities and friendly helpful staff. Lots of trees, minimal road noise

Unbeatable Hospitality

Called in last minute for a 1 night stay because my 1st option didn’t pan out. When they were escorting me to the campsite, they graciously upgraded me to a gravel pull through because it had been raining. I offered to pay extra but they said no worries. Bathrooms and shower house were very clean and private which was nice. Would highly recommend, especially with the Lewis and Clark caverns so close!

Just ok

The staff were very friendly and as helpful as possible. The restrooms and showers were nice and clean. Small store, nice pavilion area and a huge dog area. I did not see a playground area. The sites are very small and very crowded. A small fire ring and picnic table at each site however to sit on our picnic table one of us would have to sit directly beside our neighbors sewer dump. At our site two lengths of sewer hose wouldn’t reach from our tank to the sewer dump, so even though we paid for full hookups we were only able to utilize water and electric. The roads in the park are also very tight and in my opinion not very big rig friendly.

Great spot to regroup

Spent 2 nights reorganizing after 5 nights of dry camping. Showers, laundry, restocking the fridge, and letting the dogs run. Perfect spot on our journey

Great little KOA

This was our first KOA experience and it did not fail to impress. The staff was friendly bathrooms and showers were top notch and the kids had fun. Given that this is a Journey campground our expectations were not too high however we loved our weekend. Will come again.

Right off I-90, nice and shady

Nice campground and easy to maneuver. Lovely outdoor community space. Showers were okay. Could have used a little cleaning. Staff were very nice. Super convenient and quiet with lots of trees.

Outstanding

This is a beautifully maintained, brand new KOA. The young man who owns it is making many improvements. The showers are extremely nice. There’s a little camp store with a coin laundry. The owner is very knowledgeable about the area including glacier national Park. I would highly recommend this campground.

Three forks KOA

Not sure if this is the same campgrounds as listed Nice place, good shade clean. New KOA owner here very friendly and all around awesome. Though spot close quarters tight turns. I think rigs or trailer bigger then 24ft will have a hard time maneuvering in here, but they do have good spots too. Ours it 27ft pull behind husband said thankfully the spot In front of us isn't take or we wouldn't make the turn to get out of here. Some spots have fire pits while others don't. New showers and bathrooms. Club house small store. Overall this place is Dimond in the rough. We will be back to see how they have improved it. They also let us keep our camper here as we were here 1 night only but wanted to go to the Museum of the Rockies in Bozeman, MT. A++

Pleasant Overnight Stay

Very pleasant place to spend the night. Manager very helpful in finding the perfect site for TV reception. Spacious gravel site, although needed quite a bit of leveling. Didn’t use any of the facilities, just enjoyed the serene environment, bunnies and doves. Perfect place to spend the night on way from Glacier to Yellowstone. Definitely would stop again.

Really nice campground

It was really nice and really clean. We stayed for 3 nights here. Everyone was really helpful getting us setup with how we needed to be. We have a big rig and was towing a trailer so the turns were somewhat tight getting in and out. But other than that it was very nice and clean. The showers and laundry areas were very clean as well.

A stop along the way

This was a safe easy stop along the way from Yellowstone to Glacier National Park. $35. for a tent site with water hookup. Nothing fancy — a wooded parking lot with fire rings and picnic tables. Better than most RV lots. All spaces are pull through (huge relief traveling with a tiny cargo trailer that’s impossible to back up. No privacy. Hookups, laundry, bathrooms. The tent sites without hookups were cuter. The gate closes at 10. Check-in ends at 9p.m. Surrounded by farmland.

Quiet hours strictly enforced

Got in late (after 9), but they where nice enough to give us a tent site to camp in. Amenities are nice, but my only negative for us was that quiet hours where at 10pm and a lot of their guest go to sleep at that time, so they enforce that rule. If you are looking for a quiet place after 10 though, this is a great spot.

Beautiful View

Camp Three Forks is conveniently located off I-90 on 287 as you head south to Yellowstone. It's a beautiful campground with nice grassy sites and nice views of the mountains. The wind seemed to blow a lot here which was nice considering I was there in summer. Bathrooms were nice & clean.
