Quiet and close to Glacier NP
Great last-minute spot! Rolled in around 8pm and easily found a spot for a car and multiple tents toward the beginning of the road, before we reached the dropped pin. Our spot had an obvious pull-in for parking a car, a flat campground beyond the parking (separated by big rocks) with a fire ring, and a path to at least one more campground connecting behind that. A few other campers were already there — RV spots at the beginning of the road we’re taken, not sure whether RVs could fit/navigate further back. Heard a few other cars roll in after dark, but considering we didn’t hear them leave, there must’ve been available spots further down the road. Felt safe — families and couples staying there. Very quiet & private, since the camp spots are tucked away. Be bear aware!!!!! Practice bear safety!!!!
