All the sites at Glacier NP are having a slightly different year than normal, I think. Construction close to Sprague shuts down the road at night, affording more privacy, but this is one of the quieter campgrounds anyway with few sites and no clear reason to stop (as opposed to Apgar or even Avalanche). The closure up until recently maybe meant that day users were hurting for places to explore, but I didn’t find it intrusive at all. If anything it’s nice to be over here as opposed to on the other side with the craziness at Apgar and Fish Creek or even down the road at the Lake McDonald lodge area.
