Rain kept the mosquitoes away!
I spent 4 nights here just me and my dog before school starts. It rained each day which worked hugely to our benefit as there were almost no mosquitoes!! The campground is huge, with 4 loops. We stayed in loop C and on Tuesday and Wednesday night the campground was maybe half full and very peaceful, late on Thursday we did get neighbors right next to us that were pretty loud. The campground is very close to a great section of Hebgan Lake, there’s a more shallow area and places to put in your motorboats. I would really think about when you come up though, as it’s usually full of mosquitoes and on the weekend it got pretty loud and full. The specific site we were at did have terrible drainage after it rained, but only in the front so we just parked carefully. I would still give it 5/5.
