pristine little spot with great views right on Ross Lake

This is a beautiful little nook right on Ross Lake that you can either hike into or canoe into. If I remember correctly I believe it is about a 13 mile hike in. Requires a backcountry permit. Has picnic tables and bathroom. We drank right out of the lake with a water filter- it is extremely clean, and super cold! Nice views of cascades, the lake, and a big run off stream. Was a pretty easy hike in, and definitely rewarding once arrived. We had some of our group canoe in and some hike in. Had campfires, ate good food, and met a guy who brings his llamas up there!! MOSQUITOS.
