Everyone should totes stay here

I made this title for a reason everyone should should totes stay at blue springs once in their life. Friendly camp manager who let us in even though we were a bit late. Terrific water to look at and super clean

Great campground!

this campground was safe, quiet, and clean. It was even able to accommodate late arrivals. I couldn't give five stars because the water in the women's shower was burning hot. Other than that I would stay again. We stayed for a questival experience by Cotopaxi.

the people make it perfect

The site is pretty ideal. For only being two to thirty minutes away from the city, you're fairly isolated in a glade of your own essentially. The plot of land to camp on is generously large, you have perfect amount of privacy. In addition to the beauty of this place, it's super easy to find and comes with everything you could need. However, the reason it is worth five stars to me is because of the people here. Both the kind lady that greeted me on the phone when I registered my spot and the man who welcomed us here were so kind and courteous and wanted to make our lives genuinely more enjoyable. It doesn't get much better than that folks!

Questival Camping

Excellent, well laid out campground, just the right amount of lighting to see facilities without washing out night sky. We had no prob-llamas!

Nice trails, nice boats, friendly staff.

I like this place a lot. My wife and I just go down for the day sometimes to trial ride and let our dogs run. There is a cliff that they used to let everyone jump off of that is about 30 plus feet. The water retreated to much so now it's not safe the park ranger will tell you all about it. Still a great place to drop your boat in. You can even rent their boats for a decent price, they just make you turn them in by 7 most night which never seems like enough time. Great fishing and swimming spots.

More like Brown Springs

I had a lot of fun down here on account of family, fishing, boating, and tubing. There is a lot of wildlife (deer, especially) as well as a farm with zebras, a zedonk, and a camel. However, don't be tricked by the name, the water is not blue by any means. Lots of friendly folks, though! And the water sure is warm (in the summer).

I've heard the winters are really cold, but still nice to huddle up with some hot cocoa and watch the water.

It's Missouri. In the summer.

Awesome place to go lake boating. People are out fishing, swimming, camping, and boating at all times of day. Thankfully, even though there was quite a bit of humidity, there weren't any mosquitoes. Lots of cicadas and herons.

Watch out for the alligator gar, but it is safe to swim. Wear lots of sunscreen!
