Last Minute Camping

We camped overnight here on a bit of a whim and we were pleasantly surprised by the amount of space some of the sites have between them. Some spots are right on the lake water and some are off in the woods a little bit more, which does somewhat provide a dispersed camping experience, although you are still at a camp site near an access road. Lots of room though.

Great weekend

Great campground to stay at. Sites are power only, water and dump separate. Campground has private boat ramp and parking away from public use so things stay secure overnight. Short walk to beach area is nice. Will be back again

Tent Camping

Beautiful views from many of the sites. I noticed several of the tent sites do not have level areas for your tent. T01 site does not have close parking unless you are able to park in the handcap parking. It is a quite park in the evening. Camp host is polite and shower house is kept clean. Vault toilet by the boat ramp is sketchy (where tent camping is located). Will stay here again.

Camping on the hill

This camp ground is located on a hill over looking Stockton Lake. There is a very nice boat launch ramp in the camp ground. Lots of shade! Good place to go when lake level is high.

A great rainy & flooded weekend

Simple campground. Spacious spots. Easy check in. They do not sell firewood and tell you to go to the woods to get your own - Disappointed in that. Beautiful spots on the lake. Calm and family friendly environment. I'll go back - but will being my own wood.

Chicken rock

Nice little campground with good facilities. The swim beach is a little far from the camp, but if you walk down the trails there are great places to swim near camp including "Chicken Rock" a large island out in the lake the kids love to swim to and jump off
