We have been camping at Whispering Surf since May. It is located on Bass Lake, with a nice sandy beach and good fishing, and only a 10 minute walk to Lake Michigan's sandy beaches. There is a great old lodge building in the middle of the campground. The lower level houses the sparkling clean bathroom/shower facilities. Every sire has a fire ring and a picnic table. Wood and ice are available in the office and they will even deliver it to your site! They have free coffee on weekend mornings, popcorn on Saturday nights, monthly free pancake and sausage breakfast, BINGO nights, and ice cream socials. Just a great, relaxing place to camp!
