Typical State Park

Very typical of Michigan state parks. Tight sites with a nice fire ring. Great location with a walking path to Lake Michigan. Close to downtown Holland. Nice bathrooms and clean showers.

It’s about location not comfort

This campground is close to Lake Michigan and lake Mac . Also convent access to town by car. Not my favorite sites(where are stayed) on the west end are small. Looks like the sites on the east end are larger and more comfortable. Very nice camp hosts! Clean restrooms and showers.

State campground in Holland

This is a nice state campground with 211 sites in Holland. There is no alcohol allowed. It is hard to get into this campground so make your reservations early. The sites are $33 each or $37 for a 50 amp. Each site has it's own fire pit. There are two play areas and a volleyball court and horseshoe pit.

Exactly what you would expect from a State Park

It's clean. It's well laid out. It's well staffed. It's near Holland, MI and Lake Michigan beaches. It has electricity only - no water or sewer in campsites. It's beautiful and piney and full of poison ivy and mosquitoes because it's in Michigan. Suck it up and enjoy the view.
