Quiet, with plenty of wildlife to observe in the campground, and in the densely forested area surrounding it. The road going back in, while well maintained, can be narrow at spots allowing only a one car passage. Keep an eye out for oncoming traffic, and places to pull over if need be. Have seen folks with 5th wheels and trailers back in there, but not motorhomes. The town of DeTour is close by for groceries, and dining out. Water comes from a hand pump near the front, and must be hand carried to your site. I have stayed there several times, and really enjoyed it.
