Camp Dearborn

Not bad, just not for me.

I visited this campground with extended family - and there was a lot of us.  This campground is very clean, well-manicured and is vast.  I didn't have time to explore everything.  There is a TON of things to do: swimming, zip-lining, mini-golf, fishing, paddle boats, basketball - I'm sure I'm missing something.  It's impossible to be bored.

That being said, it was not my favorite camping experience.  It was extremely crowded and people were very rowdy late into the night and obviously intoxicated.  There was a karaoke machine set up which is a fun group activity but it also took away from the nature experience.  I like to be still and listen to the sounds of nature, which was impossible.

Even going for a walk, cars were driving by on the paved roads of the park, people were everywhere.  This is a campground that takes away all the things I love about camping: to unplug, seclusion, enjoying the beauty of nature without distractions.  I wouldn't recommend this campground if you enjoy a more rustic experience while camping.
