Beautiful Lake Access

This Campground was very family-friendly. There is easy access to the beach with wide stairs. Many people enjoying rock collecting and watching the sunrise and sunset. The park was very clean and well kept with multiple bath houses.

Barnes County Campground

We’re tent camping this spot and it’s really nice, multiple trails and a private beach. I would advise to book a spot early because the bad spots are all in a line on an open lot which isn’t really ideal for my situation, but overall it’s a nice place.

Tent Camping was GREAT!

Had a great time staying at this Campground! Well maintained/clean, 50 yards from the Lakeshore of Lake Michigan, and the staff are super friendly. The campground uses a service where you can digitally reserve your desired campground in real time! This can be found on the Campgrounds website and very intuitive to use. I was never planning to go to this Campground but after reading the reviews on the Dyrt App and realizing you can book digitally, it was a no brainer. The only downside of this campground is that it’s very expensive! I paid $36 a night to tent camp, and in my experienced opinion, that is absurd! Nevertheless had a great time here!

Great place with roomy spots

Super quiet, right on the beach with a path beside our site . Dogs welcome here but the bummer was that they aren’t allowed on their beach at all. Would def come back!!

Beautiful views and very clean!

Breathtaking views very close to torch lake. Does are very sandy but the rest makes up for that. Horseshoe pits. Park for the kids, hiking trails, bike trails and just a mile to boat launch on torch lake. Love this campground! Sites 55, 60 and 10 are the best!

Perfect autumn stay

Just steps to the lake from any campsite, this campground is wonderful! Our site was easy access in and out. Clean bathrooms super close. Best of all the beach area. The views are stunning. Grocery, wood, and supplies nearby.

Excellent day park and camp ground.

Right on lake Michigan. Just on the north side of grand traverse bay. Tiny town of east port. Original grounds for logging industry. They would pull timbers out of torch lake, and launch them out on lake Michigan at this spot. Fantastic day park with kids play ground. Beautiful white pines and wonderful beach. Idea for a summer grill spot. Great for camping.

Hidden Gem

There are campsites here with direct access to the beach. The campsites are relatively close together but there a lot of tall trees and it was nice and quiet. We stumbled upon this campground completely by accident just in time for sunset and it was absolutely spectacular.

Lake Michigan Paradise

Beautiful park on the shore of Lake Michigan. Great for kids, as a sand bar goes out quite a distance. Ring road through the park is quiet enough to bike around, and they are many hiking paths to choose from. Campibg slots are clean and well maintained with many options for location.

Great Campground!

I love this campground. The sites are spaced decently far apart. Some of them are so close to Lake Michigan, you can just walk on a path through some trees right up to the water! There are restrooms here, and a general store nearby.
