The Best Camping Near Monroe, Michigan

nice campground- clean with many pull through sites.  Nice size poolwith enough lounge chairs.  Sites feel a bit small but still very nice.  Right next to camping is go karts, putt putt and arcade.  We had a blast!  

Fun for the kids!

My boyfriend &amp; I were passing through the area and stopped here for 2 days without reservations. They were very accommodating and since we arrived after 7:30 pm, the office was closed but they insured us to pick a spot and we could get checked in the next morning. Bath houses were very clean. Everything well kept up. We enjoyed our couple days here! Wifi on site.

Beautiful campground

Very clean, nice sites with a friendly staff. We have a 21’ camper and the sites feel small.  Another big issue is how close it is to the expressway which is noisy and there are trains that go by during the night. There must be a few crossings near by because they blew the horn for 5+ minutes at 4:30am. Woke up everyone in our camper and we are in a central spot. This is not the campgrounds fault but it sucks when your 1 year old is up for the day at 4:30am. Great staff, delivered wood that you have to purchase here. Expensive for what’s included everything is extra, putt putt, go karts, etc. We won’t be back but it might be worth a try for some. 

Clean, but small sites and noisy 

Stayed here for two weeks in October.    Halloween weekends. this place is packed - but empties out Sunday Afternoons.    Tons of activities for all ages during the weekends.

  

Larger pull thru sites, laundry, pool, firewood,   lots of convenience.

  

Monroe is minutes away with every food, and convenience option needed.

Good Overall Campground

Although we only stayed one night, we will be back.  All concrete roads and pads.  Basketball court, sand volleyball, playground, dog run, batting cages and go karts within walking distance.  Very friendly staff and knowledgeable of the area.  

Very Nice Big Rig Friendly

We needed a spot quickly after an absolutely terrible experience at the nearby Detroit KOA (don’t go there). Harbortown got us in last minute. They were super friendly and helpful. The sites are level pavement. Decent wifi even though the place packed. All this for the same price as the KOA. Definitely check it out.

Went mothers day weekend and had a great time.

Not my sites booked so we had tons of space. Pool wasn't open yet. 

Mother's day activities were great and were free!

Next door to putt putt go karts batting cages ans arcade - this was pricey but fun
