Below our standards

Mostly seasonal trailers and campsites. If it were not for the Chester River and dock there would be nothing left to do. Staff was fair and obviously not trained with how to provide good customer service. They have five waterfront sites that provide a great view and perhaps 25-30 others for transients. All of the sites are very close together so you better hope for a good, quiet neighbor. The bathhouses have toilets and showers that are very dated and NOT CLEANED OFTEN. My photos will show:

  1. A beautiful view of the river if you want to pay a premium for these sites.
  2. Debris left in the bathhouse for quite some time and the dated conditions of same. I will not be returning to this campground.

Packed in like sardines!

We’ll never come back here!!! Campers are packed in so closely most can’t open their awnings. Our door is about 5ft from the neighbors sewer drain and we’re inches from a tree on the other side. Flies everywhere, zero privacy (we can’t even open the blinds. My neighbor sneezed last night and we could hear him from ours. Nothing to do here if you don’t have a boat. Seasonal campers look like they’ve been here 20yrs+. Some newer ones, but not really. Unattended dogs. If we weren’t so far from home, we would’ve left already. Tomorrow can’t some soon enough!

Not what I’m use too

This campground is mostly seasonal campers that keep to themselves. Not much for the kids, they do have a pool and small playground. There is a nice pier and boat ramp. Bathrooms by the pool are nice and clean did not check the second bathhouse but was told you needed a code to access it. No cable or internet and cell service for att, sprint, and T-Mobile was spotty. I can’t say anything bad about the place other then there is nothing to do or activities for the kids but if you would like to get away from it all and do a little fishing this is the place. You have to drive at least 20 minutes to find food and things to do.
