Wonderful campground

We camped in site 364, deluxe patio pull thru. Concrete pad and fire pit, along w Trex style table and chairs were the perfect addition to the site. We used them all weekend. So much nicer than the traditional wooden picnic tables. Trolley runs every 20 mins or so to free beach area and along Atlantic Ave. $4pp over 17yo. Giant water slide, 2 very clean pool areas w a lot of seating, jumping air pillow and bike rentals. Tons for kids to do. Tonight we made and launched rockets. Overall, an excellent visit. One complaint is that people don’t seem to teach their children campground etiquette. We had kids run thru our site all the time. That was annoying, esp during meal time. Overall, we highly recommended visiting this KOA!!

Quiet and friendly

Great campground! Pool snack bar is fabulous!!!! Roads r tight to navigate and our site was a little difficult to back into. Campground was clean and very quiet. The only thing that concerned us was there were a lot of little kids walking around unattended. We will def go back.

Nice, little campground

Quiet family campground. Nice play area for kids. VERY clean! Overall, a nice place. Not much to do nearby, and not many food options without driving 15+ mins. Small pool and jacuzzi. Sites in the back section of the campground have a little more space but we had a lot of ants and mosquitos being close to drainage and the woods. We will stay here again.

Nice little place

We were here about 10-15 yrs ago and swore we’d never go back. I’m glad we did. They’ve added a pool and are working on a mini golf area. Nice playground, basketball court, 2 fishing areas. Almost all the seasonals are new(er) campers and even the older ones are well maintained-180° change from the old, dilapidated, junk filled campers from our last visit. We faced the cow pasture so we had a great view. No prob w bugs. Sites r close together but not on top of each other. Overall, a nice quiet place and we will return.

Nice place

Site 41. Nice shaded, level site with stone. Small grassy area between sites. Clean and close together, but not too close. They have activities and golf cart rentals, neither of which we took advantage of. Seems like a lot of seasonal trailers but everything is kept nice and relatively new. Check in was easy and office staff was friendly. We would return.

Scenic and quiet escape

Clean and well kept grounds, quiet atmosphere. Lums is very small and can be hard to get a weekend reservation. Campground is a short trail walk to the lake for fishing. On the other side of the lake there’s boat rentals and a zip line. Lums is one of favorite, however there isn’t much to do in the surrounding area.

Wonderful place

Very clean! Mostly seasonal residents with new and properly maintained sites. Very friendly, as almost everyone waved when we went by. Pool was open and monitored. Office staff was so nice. We had site 217 in the back. Was difficult to pull in to but the lot size was big. Lots of mosquitos tho-I was eaten up so bring repellent! Very private and quiet place. They have rules in place and it seems everyone follows them. No loud music or partying all night here. 25-30 mins to ocean city boardwalk.

Great Campground, huge sites!

At arrival we went straight our site,68. Large paved pad and huge grassy area around it. Trees around but none directly on the lot keeping us shaded and exposed and different times of the day. Very quiet. Fishing dock, and walking path. Across the pond is boat rentals and a zip lining. Great area. Def adding this to the list of places to return!!

Was ok

Check in was easy but the roads are narrow and we had a hard time getting on to site 145. We had seasonals in front and behind us who weren’t very friendly and one woman looked annoyed we were there. Our neighboring transient campers were very nice. The campground is PACKED! Very busy with kids and golf carts-even kids driving golf carts. We didn’t take advantage of any of the activities and I heard a band playing Sat night, although it was hard to hear over the music each seasonal group seemed to be playing. If your a young party goer, than this could be a fun place. Just wasn’t our thing. We did have a great time tubing on the river. Have someone drop you off at Hawkins Bridge and float down to the campground. A little over 2 hour ride.

It’s not a Yogi Bear anymore

We were sad to find out it’s no long a Yogi Bear Campground, only Adventure bound. Everything else is the same, just no friendly bears. We stay 3 weeks ago during covid and there were limited activities. Dj in the rally field was fun and the train rides were up and running.
The campground has def changed in the last 10 yrs. Cabin rentals are everywhere and have replaced a lot of transient camper sites and it seems like many more seasonals than before. I booked another trip for Halloween.

Very relaxing

We had a nice site that backed up to a small creek. Very scenic and laid back campground. Mostly older folks. Very quiet except for the neighbor who rode his quad for hours on end. We went during Corona so no amenities were open. If you just need a place for a quiet weekend, this is it, but I can see how not many would enjoy it. Look at the map when selecting a site. The sites in the center are like a parking lot. Small, no shade and wide open. We prefer the creek side sites.

Packed in like sardines!

We’ll never come back here!!! Campers are packed in so closely most can’t open their awnings. Our door is about 5ft from the neighbors sewer drain and we’re inches from a tree on the other side. Flies everywhere, zero privacy (we can’t even open the blinds. My neighbor sneezed last night and we could hear him from ours. Nothing to do here if you don’t have a boat. Seasonal campers look like they’ve been here 20yrs+. Some newer ones, but not really. Unattended dogs. If we weren’t so far from home, we would’ve left already. Tomorrow can’t some soon enough!
