Poorly maintained site

Sites are on top of each other. Water hookup access was on the ground. It was raining and the area was saturated with no where to drain. Very pricey for a dumpy place

Waterfront Sites have Great Views

The daily waterfront sites are pricy but right on the water with great views. Some of the trailer sites are a tough back in but worth the trouble. WiFi is good washrooms are modern and adequate. A lot of long term residents but the transient sites are pretty separate. Sites are paved, pretty level and just a bit close.

Waterfront sites very nice

Beautiful water front sites and good location right off 95. We are here visiting family for the holidays and it’s serving us well. I will say you can tell most people are long term residents. Only the front section is available for nightly booking. Cute little dock, fishing from your campsite if waterfront and an area to put in small boats or kayaks. Also has a bathhouse that is dated but clean.

Small but nice

Weekend was cold but the park was pretty full. This is close to us so it was an easy trip. Full hookup but we’re told to turn off and unhook water the night it dropped below freezing. They do fill up propane but there’s a Tractor Supply about 20min away that will also fill them. Bathhouse available but I didn’t use it. Pool was closed but looked nice. There was a fenced dog area and play set. The sites are close but there were all sizes of RVs there, even large class A. Many sites are on the water. No swimming in the Bush River but you can fish from the pier or right from your site. There appeared to be a boat dock as well. I read they had a couple bungalows to rent too. Fire pit was nice and situated near the water. Picnic tables at each site. It’s a gated park and nestled at the back of a quiet neighborhood. I didn’t take many pics this time. It was all about relaxing and we never left the campground. It’s located about 40 min. from Baltimore Harbor, Ravens and Orioles stadiums. Bel Air is 20 min. away and has several restaurants. Walmart is 10-15 min. away. There is a grocery store, beer store, Walgreens, and a couple restaurants just 5-10 min. away and a 7-11 at the neighborhood entrance. It seems like a great overnight as you’re passing through the area. It’s 5 min. from Interstate 95.

Peace & Tranquility, waterfront. Fish from your camp site.

Beautiful family owned campground. Kinda small but has a lot to offer. A nice clean pool, camp store, clean bathroom/showers, full hookups, surrounded by water. Fishing piers, (I love to crab) catch them and steam them in my camper (a MD thing :-) Only bait at the camp store or with 25 miles is night crawlers. Bring your own if your a fishing person. Drove me nuts.  Quiet, peaceful, family oriented, mostly older adults with RV's as it's an RV Park. However, they accept all types of camping situations except tents. They even have one site they rent to a conversion type van w full hook ups.  This is our 3rd year camping there spring, summer & fall. The water bugs are bad in the spring, no mosquitoes, acorns falling from the trees on your camper in the fall, no golf carts allowed too small of a place. Take the good with the bad... Nice shady sites, can fish from your chair. Kayak rentals, boat slips.  Close to all types of stores, civilization, 7-11, a nice seafood store to get crabs or fish if you didn't catch any.  There is also a Waffle House around the corner.... That in itself is worth the trip! Five stars in my book.  We just spent a week there for Memorial Day. Highly recommend

If you like boating , kayaking or canoeing, this is the place !!!

Camped here at the end of summer, really loved it. Had our kayaks with us and the water wasn’t but a few steps away. Some sites you are right on the waters edge. Bathroom was clean, pool was closed...not too many campers but it sure was a nice time. Would go back again for sure...

RV Park surrounded by water!

Our first visit (March 2018) was just prior to peak season (lower rates) and we had a site literally 10 ft. from the water! Full hook ups and sites were a little close, but nice. There seemed to be a lot of long term/permanent residents, but most sites along the waterfront remained open. The campground seemed to stress pet restrictions both in the rules section of their registration packet and signage around the grounds. There was a pet exercise/walking area, but could use some sprucing up. However, no one really made an issue of walking your dog around the campground and as the weekend came around, more and more dogs were around.

You have to drive through a residential neighborhood to reach Bar Harbor, so big rigs take care/caution. Would like to try Bar Harbor again sometime.
