We pulled up at around 7:30pm and found most campers sitting out of their RV’s enjoying the night. It was a little intimidating being our first time camping but we checked in and rolled down to our site right on the water. It was a bit breezy but the view was amazing and it wasn’t too windy for our tents. Everyone there was extremely nice and friendly. There were a lot of seasonal campers there who were very helpful and friendly but also did not intrude on your space. The price was excellent and kayaking on the lake was an added bonus. The only thing that stopped me from 5 stars was that the spaces are a little close together from what I expected, but don’t forget this was our first time so this might be what all campgrounds are like. We would totally go here again and would definitely recommend this spot for anyone that wanted to give camping a shot so they can learn about what they need and what they forgot, haha we forgot a lot!
