Very quite and beautiful

Only complaint was the access for 5th wheels at their full hookup sites.   Not much room to maneuver while baking in.  They are in the process of creating 4 pull through sites for future patrons.

Hi Allen, Thank you for coming. Yes, we are in the process of making new sites where campers can pull through, that probably will not be ready till the fall. Thanks again and do come again if you are in the area. We have plenty of pull through if you want to boondock. Libby Landry

Quiet and pleasant

This place was beautiful, quiet, and pleasant. We walked to the tasting room and enjoyed the delicious wine. We were there on a Saturday and also got to enjoy the live music... lots of people there that day. These spots are not pull through, but they aren't back in either...... they are pull in, but back out to get out. I suppose you could back in and run your hook ups under your RV, but we didn't do it that way. Anyway, it was a really nice overnight stay for us.

Hi Edwin, Thank you for the 5 star review. We are happy that you enjoyed the stay and the wine. Saturday's music was great. It was actually a lighter crowd of people than normal, a lot of other things going on in town. You are correct that our spot are not pull through. We are in the process of moving the RV sites to another location and making them pull through, I can't wait for that to happen and add another cottage in that location. If you are a driving RV, then you can pull in and the hookups are on the correct side and back up when leaving. Most campers and 5th wheels back into the spot and position the hookups to go under the camper or 5th wheel. Glad it worked for you and you had a nice stay. Please do come again. If you come for a concert, we usually have 1k - 15K people. We have a staff of 30 and lots of parking boys. It is very controled CHAOS. HA HA!!! Safe travels and CHEERS!!! Libby Landry

Beautiful place

Nice with lots of room, bought wine and relaxed.

Thank you for the 4 stars. Is there something we can do in the future or was there something wrong that you did not give us a 5 star. We are always open to hear how we can improve. We are in the process of making some improvements. We will be moving the camping spots to another area so they are pull through and put the hookups on the other side. When my husband put those in, he made the sites for RV rigs. Please do come again. Glad that you enjoyed the wine and was able to relax. CHEERS! Libby Landry

So peaceful

Our stay at Landry’s Vineyard was very relaxing and peaceful. We went to the concert they were having that Saturday, it was pleasant despite the on and off rain. When we got back to our RV  we could still hear the band, that was pretty neat. There is no shade at the campground, we used a canopy which did help, so that would not prevent us from staying again. We did not go to the wine tasting or tour the Vineyard, so next time we will for sure do that. Our kids visited us that Saturday, they went to the wine tasting for a little while before the concert and said it was cool and would like to go back to be able to stay longer. All in all it’s a great place if you just need some relaxation and chill looking over the Vineyards.

Great weekend Getaway

The locations is great no loud noises, small park but nicely laid out, great view of the vineyards. You drive through the vineyards to get to your spot. Went and did the wine tour which was great to see the work this family has done and invested into the wine production.

Best part was the wine many different choices but the best shout out goes to the staff all nice hard working individuals. Great sense if humor having to deal with my dry cense of humor.

We picked a good weekend as the music was free but heard they have some great concerts as well.

We will return as our grand children live close to the area.

Beautiful & Peaceful place with great owners.

This cute family owned winery has 3 gravel pads and 2 cabins across the street from the tasting room. They are located on a hill that overlooks the grape fields. All 3 sites are full hook up. Cell service is good but no Wi-Fi. Only a few miles off the interstate but be careful of the hilly winding roads getting there. Bigger rigs might have a harder time getting there. The only advice I can give is to better mark the campground entrance. Other then that, sit on the hill with a glass of wine and enjoy the view.

Thank you for your stay. We are happy that you had a nice time. Sorry we do not have Wi-Fi, it is very costly, maybe we can add it one day. We will try to work on your advice, however, At the entrance, we have signs, lights, reflectors and an address plate. All those descriptions are in the directions. Thanks again and hope you come again. Libby

Beautiful place.

Great place.  The only problem we had was that the road to the camp site is a litter tight for our 45ft Motorhome.

Hi Jim,

Thank you for the review. I am so sorry that YOU backed your camper into the ditch which is on the opposite side of the road. The roads leading to the RV sites are suitable for 45ft motorhomes, we have had many that size and none complained. Safe travels. Libby

Lovely and serene

We were staying one night at Landry’s as a Harvest Host member and needed another night so we booked at the RV site. We ended up canceling ourRV site and staying where we were at the Vineyard. However, we did walk over to the RV site and Cabins and check the area. It’s a beautiful location with 3 generous sized gravel lots. We would definitely stay if we needed shore power. We are set up for boondocking and prefer it when we are on the move. If you need E/W…. This is a lovely location and we can say Landry’s in one of the nicest HH we have ever visited! True southern hospitality!

Beautiful Vineyard and Winery a few miles off interstate.

On our trip across the country, we discovered Landry Vineyards through Harvest Hosts. But it does appear, according to Jeff & Libby Landry, this large winery and event venue allows others to camp their RV / Trailer overnight.

We arrived during a winter storm with heavy rainfall. Usually, they have you park in a field next to the vineyards, which has awesome views. But due to rain, the mud was so bad there was a chance of us getting stuck, so they had us park for the night on a concrete parking area next to the tasting room.

This is dry camping. So there is no water, electric or sewage available. There are restrooms you can use while the winery is open 11am - 5:30pm Monday through Saturday. But they do allow campers overnight on Sundays, too, even if the winery is closed.

I would suggest hitting it when it's open. They have 24 different wines ranging from dry to sweet, reds, ports, whites, fizzies and some hybrids made with blueberries and blackberries. Tasting is free with the purchase of one bottle of wine per person. The petite syrah, red zin and chocolate raspberry port are worth the trip on their own. Rare to have such good wines coming from a small southern winery.

The setting is peaceful, quiet and safe. The owners even turned on the lights and allowed us to use the covered outdoor patio next to the tasting room since the weather was so bad.  They can accommodate any size rig and have 6 spots available. Call at least 1 day in advance. And, since it's free...be sure to thank them by making a purchase in the tasting room.

The drive from the highway is only about 6 miles, but the roads in are tight and windy with 30mph curves, narrow and bumpy roads. Not too bad, but be slow and careful through here.
