 Grove Campground is perched on a forested ridge above Laurel River Lake in Kentucky's Daniel Boone National Forest. The lake, fed by the Laurel River, is considered one of the most scenic lakes in the state. Boating, fishing, hiking and biking are greatly enjoyed by campers.
## Recreation

 Hikers, horseback riders and mountain bikers can trek more than 600 miles of road and trail in Daniel Boone National Forest. Duff Branch, Oak Branch, Fishing Point and Singing Hills Trails can all be accessed in the immediate area. Anglers find prized catches of walleye, crappie, brown trout and rainbow trout at Laurel River Lake. Boating and swimming are also popular activities. A boat ramp is located nearby at Grove Marina.

 The campground is in close proximity to the lake and is less than a mile from the shoreline. Laurel River Lake boasts 5,600 acres of deep, clear water and 192 miles of cliff-lined shores. Bountiful hills and valleys create a beautiful backdrop for the lake area.The forest was named after Daniel Boone, a famous frontiersman and explorer who settled in Kentucky in the late 18th century.

The Best Camping Near Keavy, Kentucky

Absolutely love daniel boon national forrest. This camp ground is wonderful. We found ourselves completely alone mid week and stayed for several days. There are sites suitable for tents and electric hook ups for RVs. The showers were great hot...thats always a plus. We stayed here and did a bunch of day hikes.

There is hiking, biking, fishing, climbing and all kinds of other activities in the surrounding areas. On your out make sure to stop at Miguels for some awesome people and pizza and ale 8\. This is a world renown climbing hub. Really cool campground, hostel co-op here that sometimes has live music..You won't regret the pizza.

Daniel Boon can't get enough

This campground is a favorite in my hometown. Very friendly camp hosts every year. Quaint camping areas private and semi private areas. Primitive camping if you like to really rough it with nice trails to each spot. The camp hosts comes by nightly to see if you need wood or ice. Very convenient if you dont want to leave your camping area. The marina is just a short distance from the campground if you bring your boat to enjoy Laurel lake. You can walk to the lake from the campground but its quite the hike downhill all the way so of course the hike back is a bit harder. You are close enough to hear the boats on the lake at the lower camp areas in the campground. Enjoy our trips every time we go.

The grove is a small friendly wooded campground with primative and rv spots

I thought this campground was very nice! The camp hosts were very friendly and the spots were nice and secluded. The campground had bathrooms and showers. Close to laurel lake and close to the marina. Corbin is nearby also, where the original KFC is by the way! Also check out Cumberland falls in the area!!

Grove is another of the many smaller campgrounds that are spread throughout Daniel Boone NP.
Tent or RV camp, well maintained older area with facilities and privacy. So much to do nearby and just another AWESOME area. 

Pleasant Atmosphere 

A group of 6 campers on our way to the East Coast stayed over in Grove Campground, part of the Daniel Boone National Forrest.  We stayed 2 nights in our site B12 and enjoyed the stay.  Although COVID had bathroom closed, we brought our own. We had a great time exploring the area including Cumberland Falls.  We would go back if ever in that neck of the woods again!

Nice clean campground 

Some RV sites have Elec and water, some do not. If it’s first come first serve there seems to be plenty of sites and you can pay at the Ranger station.
