Nice Campground
We've done day trips here in the past and have always enjoyed this park. Lots of trails to hike, for all levels of hikers. Nice playgrounds and beautiful sites for picnics. This was our first overnight trip in a travel trailer. The different ridges offer a variety of experiences. We stayed in Taylor ridge. The sites here were not level, heavily wooded and more rocks than grassy areas. Site 211 was a handicap site and close to the shower building. Had to fit the trailer between 2 trees at the opening of the site. Raccoon ridge appeared to be more for tent campers. Buffalo ridge appeared more level, lots of grassy areas, close to the small camp store and playground and open areas.
