We booked a primitive site, on a Friday night. We arrived and were the only ones in the primitive area, which for us was awesome. We got set up and was able to go for a walk and check out the trails, buildings, and the village. Everything was perfect. The host was so friendly, she came over and talked and gave us some background on the location, and things we could do for future visits. The shower, and bathrooms were nice, and clean, as was all areas of the campground.

We loved this camp ground! It was the first one we booked on our RV trip and we were a bit inexperienced at first how the hook ups work, but Roger the camp site host helped us immediately, even though we arrived super late and he explained everything to us and was just so kind! The camp ground is small, private, very peaceful and in the middle of historic buildings fr the 1800s! Definitely recommend :)

We stopped here for a night and you should really spend a few days if you have the time. There is plenty to see and do. With miles of bike trails it is easy to see everything without having to drive.

With only a handful of sites but far enough off the beaten path it's not crowded. This would be a fun stop with kids as there are activities right in the park.

Very nice campground. Small and well kept. Management seems delightful. Helped friends of mine set up for the very first time. They walk and show you to your site. Not all sites have full hook ups. Shhh keep this place a secret! It has a bunch of 1800s style buildings to explore like a post office, railroad building, school house, all kinds of stuff and a boat-shaped play place.
