This was our second time coming to this local spot. We didn’t have as much luck with catching catfish this time, but our campsite was great! It was tucked all the way at the back of the second pond and surrounded by trees and a cornfield.

We scored the most private area for sure. While it felt more peaceful back there, you can still easily here people across the lake and their poor choice in music.

We love this campground when we just need a quick getaway. A bad storm rolled in that night, but we felt well protected by the trees.
