Kayak Starved Rock Campground

Could be better, could be worse

The biggest thing we disliked about this place is how close the campsites are to one another. With a tent at every site, you’re almost right on top of the next site, enough to clearly hear the person snoring two tents over.

Other than that, the views are beautiful, and every site had its own fire pit with a cooking grate, as well as the option to purchase wood bundles, which was very convenient. They have kayak rentals but we brought our own canoe out on the water.
