5/18/26 Three highway signs, entrance gate wide open and no signage anywhere that said campground was closed. Some guy hollered at me when I entered the camping area it was closed til the end of May. Attaching a copy of the campground entrance sign with nothing on it that shows closure until a specific date. 5/25 came by again to do the hike and there were 4 campers in there! I asked why I was turned away and they said they got their work finished and opened just before the start of the holiday weekend.

Very well maintained campgrounds. $25/night or $31 with elec. Very clean restrooms (kudos to the hosts!). Site access to river for fishing, tubing or kayaking. Great hiking too!

Good sites with river access. 25$ without power (powered sites are $31
Great spot, we picked the spot by the river, its butiful.

I am in LOVE with this campground!!! It has a gentle, slow moving river that runs right next to it. Some of the campsites have electricity. There is potable water throughout the campground and very clean, well-kept bathrooms. There is a popular hike that starts right here in the campground to the Coffee Pot Rapids that’s just over 2 miles to hike to.
Since buying a travel trailer two years ago, I have been trying out many different campsites and campgrounds, never going to the same one twice. But Upper Coffee Pot Campground is one we will be back to for sure!! It’s definitely at the top of our list of favorites!
We stayed in one of the sites by the River. Some sites have electric. Ours didn’t but I didn’t mind given the location. It was private and had great views of the River. There is a trail head by our site (site 3) that goes for miles (min elevation gain) along the River. Not to be missed. The bird watching in this location is amazing. I wish we had stayed longer. Loved it!!

I have found upper coffeepot to be very crowded. My wife and I found a dispersed primitive spot down the road about 1 mile. From the camping spot there is a trail that takes you down right to Henry's Fork. The spot is pretty secluded but on 1 occasion we got some dirt bikers coming by.

I’ve been camping at the upper coffee lot campground for years, it’s nice and clean and is right on the river, great campsite to fish or float or you could go for a hike down to the coffee pot rapids

Peaceful to camp, world-class fly fishing.
