I really enjoy using this campground as a base for all kinds of activities. There are beautiful wildflower hikes nearby (bring bear spray for hiking), numerous mountain biking opportunities, and easy and scenic drives on both sides of Teton Pass. The campground is close enough to Jackson, WY for a nice dinner out, and it's a good place to stay if attending a Targhee ski area music festival. The camp sites provide nice shade without being too wooded.
