Great locations right on the lake. Our friends have a boat slip at Lake Lanier. They were able to pick us up right at our campground site. The views of the lake are awesome. We had a spacious spot, but some are right on top of each other. There are some spots that have outstanding views, but you have to reserve those well in advance. Those book up fast. Our site was shady and most sites offer some shade, but there are some in direct sun. There is a beach area for swimming, but you can swim in the lake anywhere. We swam in the cove near our site. We also kayaked at the cove. There was some loud music one night. We didn’t want to disturb the staff about it. Lake Lanier is known for parties. The park is older and bathrooms were dated, but clean. There’s not other activities other than the lake itself. It’s a small campground. The campsite was paved and level.
