Amazing Campsite

Absolutely beautiful, complete with bathrooms and many adirondacks to keep supplies dry, the campsite is a 3 to 5 minute walk away from both a beautiful beach and amazing marsh. Highly recommend.

Group Campground

I had difficulty booking online so called, and was told this campground is for groups of 15 or more only.

A must!!

This is an amazing place to camp and explore! Safe area to park your car before taking the ferry to this enchanting island. The island is 13 miles long so it takes a while to explore everything it has to offer. The beaches are beautiful, the Gullah culture is eye opening, the old mansion is quite nice...there so many things to do here. You can also rent kayaks from the hosts and drop them in just down the road. The campground is breathtaking with nice showers/bathrooms, with a couple covered shelters and a communal pavilion and campfire ring. There are outlets under the pavilion as well as a couple of fixed grills next to it. I highly recommend this quaint lil island!

My favorite place to camp!

I love this campground! Plenty of trees for hammock camping, which is what I prefer, as well as many options for tent set ups. They do have Adirondacks on site for camping. Established fire pit, large covered pavilion with multiple picnic tables, electrical hookups located within pavilion and a shower house equip with sinks and toilets. Walking distance to the beach. Very beautiful! Bike and kayak rental available through on site camp host. Ice and firewood for purchase. You take a ferry to sapelo island, then a bus takes you to Cabretta Campground. Heaven on earth, just don’t forget the bug spray.
