Peace and quiet

Stopped here on our way up north. We have a small teardrop trailer and ready for boondocking.

It was a little confusing going in at the National Forest... there's no signs.. but we kept on driving and found the spots right on the lake. Beautiful! Our spot had a picnic table and an informal fire pit area. There is enough trees around for shade, also a bear-proof garbage disposal and clean toilets. And the view over the lake... stunning!

We thoroughly enjoyed our one-night stay there. Only one drawback, we were there when all the stinging green-headed flies were out. Man, can they be pesky! Nature....

I would gladly recommend this camping ground if you like to camp in nature.

One additional perk... it's close to major roads, so the cell service was great!
