Nice shady camp ground within walking distance to the beach.

The RV sites have full hook up with a lot of them being pull through sites. There are three bath houses within the campground, a camp store, and several playgrounds. The campground is situated next to a large lake, with fishing allowed. Nice beach area with in walking distance or short drive of the camp sites.

Thanksgiving

Had our thanksgiving at the park. Map could have been more accurate but had a great time. Have plenty to do and have stayed a few more times since.

Great Weekend Getaway

Has a little bit of everything: beach, hiking, biking, mountain biking, lake. Spots are a bit close. It’s really quiet at night, so it’s really a non-issue. There’s no alcohol permitted. Just don’t be obvious or obnoxious and it’s nit really an issue.

From hiking trails two camping fishing kayaking cycling and disc golf!!! Primitive tent camping RV camping or cozy cabins great for the whole family. Reasonably priced. The very friendly staff. A great starter camping location or Family Getaway. I give four stars because the restrooms are not up kept.

One of the best kept secrets in Jacksonville

I took my son and a number of his friends here for a two day car camping trip. The facilities are clean and well taken care of. All the boys enjoyed going on hikes and bike rides through the many trails with a nice cool down swim in the ocean afterward. If you are lucky you can catch a US Navy ship departing or arriving from the nearby Naval Base.
