Like others have mentioned, there is a military base nearby and they do indeed fly helicopters. However, it was very warm, so our AC was running all night and we didn’t hear them over that. When we visited it was very windy making the Atlantic too rough for a swim but it wasn’t too windy to sit out on the rocks behind our RV and watch the sun go down. Bliss.

We didn’t use the restrooms as we’re self contained so I can’t comment on them.
