The area is a beautiful place. However, lots of people also know that. The campground has lots of shade. They have paved the roads and pad sites to cut down on erosion. However, the area was not meant to support the amount of people that come and visit. They had to cut off most of the showers except 1 each in order to maintain water pressure. Several of the bathrooms were closed. The spring area has been so well used that almost all native aquatic vegetation is gone. Green algae is mostly what is present just downstream of the swimming area. The spring run downstream is still pretty. But this is once again an area that has been loved to death by people.
