Very clean, lots of extras for a price
Newer campground, more of a resort type than “natural” camping. What it lacks in shade it makes up for with 2 nice pools, one geared toward kids with a fountain and very fun twisty slide, music, TV’s etc & the other is on the lake by a tow-ski place that’s fun to watch. There’s a tiki bar on both ends of the park, a little store, frequent live music, great food trucks & lots of kid friendly activities. There are 2 basketball courts & a couple of small dog runs. There is a highway on one side but the noise isn’t bad. There’s an eagle preserve by the lake and the Auburndale bike trail (29 miles!) just outside of the entrance. 2 playgrounds, tons of very cute tiny houses & sites with everything from hammocks to smokers, grills, full bar set ups, etc. I was impressed with the options. It is a bit pricey but it’s very clean and the staff is super nice. Easter there had a TON of activities for everyone. I’ll be back.
