Nice resort, bad site location.
The resort is very nice. The staff was friendly as well as the other campers. They Tiki Bar was fun and the DJ was good. The DJ was also the activity director Friday evening. He did a great job, but I think there should be another person to help out. The pool, laundry, comfort stations and arcade were clean. The WiFi was very slow.
I gave it 3 stars because our site was not good for us. We were in 392, which is right behind the dog run and the amenities area. We don't own a dog and we were awakened by a few dog barks and a lot of owners playing with their dogs. Quiet hours are 10pm to 8am. They blast music through speakers from 8am to 10pm. Some nights the music went on until after 11pm. The music was a mix of different genre and wasn't bad. It just became too much after a couple of days. After spending all day at the RV show, I wanted a quiet evening, which was impossible. When we arrived, we were told we could check with the front desk in the morning to see if we could be moved, but I didn't want to unhook everything so I just made the best of it. We also were awakend by construction of phase 2 directly in front of us. When I booked, the sites on the road we were on were noted as part of phase 2. They should close these down until the construction is completed. Having music in back of your RV and construction in the front was annoying.
Overall, we had a good time and we will return with the grandkids, if they allow you to choose your site in the future.
