These camping “sites” are really just boat slips which allowing you to overnight at the docks on the island. However, the main draw of staying overnight at the dock is that it allow you to get onto the beaches and explore the trails before too many people start arriving on the ferry or other boats.

For your "camping" needs the dock does have power and water hookups and there was a pavilion which had a grill you can use. That why you don't have to try and cook all your meals on the boat. Although, this would depend on your boat as I've seen some which probably have a nicer kitchen than the one I have in my apartment...

The beach is really nice and the trails are interesting, we brought my kayak and went through the mangrove kayak trail which was pretty fun.

But remember, you have to sleep on your boat. No tents, hammocks, etc…. so while it's possible to kayak or canoed to the island from the mainland (i've done it in the past) if you want to "camp" you'll end up having to try and "sleep" on your watercraft...
