This park is amazing with something to do no matter the time of year. In summer this is a beautiful crystal clear natural spring with swimming, fishing, kayaking, and boat tours. In winter staff closes the swimming access when the temperature drops. The shallow spring water is warmer than air temps, so all the manatees swim up the stream to spend the season in warmer waters and the water is packed with manatees!!!! There can be hundreds in the area per day and it makes for an amazing experience
