Really Close to the Road, Right on the River

This BLM campground is right on the river and is very popular with fishers.

It’s $10/night or day use, self pay, no host, no reservations. There are handicap accessible non gendered vault toilets and a dumpster in the day use area (though the campground rule board says there is no garbage collection and you need to manage your own waste. Maybe the dumpster is for day use users only).

Site #1 had a power box, but not sure what that was about. There was a 50amp plug with no ground, and 2 20 amp plugs. The cover for the box was off and lying on the ground next to it. Maybe it was built for a host.

Both hwy 70 and hwy 6 run right along this campground and it is LOUD. Otherwise it was a nice enough, basic campground. There is a boat ramp in the day use area.

Each site had a variety of size, levelness, and layouts. We saw tents up to a big 5th wheel.

7 day camping limit.

Cell service was ok for verizon and ATT.
