Sentinel Mountain RV & Quick Stop

Friendly hosts and nice place to stop and rest on your journey

We are full-timers in a 36 ft Class A with a Cherokee Trailhawk tow and needed a place to dump, do laundry and take on fresh water after a week of boondocking in the mountains outside of Steamboat Springs and this place fit the bill nicely. We stayed in site 11, the last one, for 2 days in late June. The sites are grassy and all looked fairly level. Ours was only about a 1/3 of a bubble off side-to-side. The sites are typically spaced for a private CG. Some have smallish trees, while others are open. There is a little road noise from CO-125, but not excessive. The camp store has a few of the basics, but don’t expect too much. The sewer receptacle is not threaded, so you'll need to otherwise secure your sewer hose. AT&T coverage is a little complicated; on the South side of the RV service ranged from 1-2 Bars of 4G/LTE with service up to 8 MB/s up, but on the North side service ranged from no service to 4 bars of 3G, with speeds up to 2.5 MB/s. T-Mobile had 4 bars of 4G service. It was probably LTE, but our Solis X hotspot only delivers 4G. We were able to get DISH coverage on all three western satellites at our site. There were no OTA channels to be had with our fixed omni antenna.
