We have camped here a few times over the past few years, however going back for the first time this year (June) we figured out the rules have changed and it doesn't seem to be all worked out yet. This is no longer a fully dispersed and free area. Some site are reservable and some are first come. The fee sign is not very helpful as it didn't have detail on the cost yet, so recommend googling before you go.

This is a convenient area to get to from Denver and the road is easy for most vehicles. Lots of ATVs around so be prepared for some noisy morning traffic.
